This beautiful flag is carefully designed and intricately carved from pine lumber. The piece is planed before it ever reaches the carving bench. This is a very important step that allows for a smooth, even surface – which in turn allows for a perfect carving. This piece is a beautiful work of art and makes a wonderful gift perfect for those who serve. To further protect the carving, we add a minimum of two coats of polyurethane to all sides.
We do not paint the back of the flag unless you select the engraving option. If you select the engraving option, we will paint the flag using the color your select for the flag.
We can work with you to do a personalized engraving on the back of this flag for an additional $15.00. Be sure to check the box to select the engraving option. Use the engraving text box to send us your preferred message. We will prepare a sample image and contact you via your email address to get your approval. Note – we will not carve the message until we get your approval, and we carve the message per your final approval. Be sure to check for all spelling errors – we do not refund for spelling errors after the sample image has been approved.
We work directly with the United States Marine Corps to make this flag available for sale and are recognized as an Official Hobbyist of the USMC; License number 19459. We are also limited in the number of USMC-branded items we can sell per year, so be sure to get your order in early before our allotment is sold out.

Return Policy
You may return any item within 14 days of receiving the work. We cannot accept returns on special orders and custom orders. This includes any one-of-a-kind pieces, or any production pieces that have been customized to your specifications.

How to Return Items
Here is the simple process for returning an item:
1. Contact us by either emailing us at thetrailmakersinfo AT gmail.com or calling 260-225-3029 to obtain return instructions.
2. If the item arrived to you via USPS, we will provide you with a USPS Return Service label. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
3. Repack the product in its original packaging materials. If the product is damaged in return transit due to packaging error, you will be responsible.
If you are returning a product because it was defective or we shipped you an item that you did not order, The Trail Makers will pay the return-shipping costs.
Refunds
You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of us receiving your return, providing it arrives safely. You will be credited for the price of the item minus shipping costs. If you have any questions, please call us at 260-225-3029.
Item(s) Damaged in Transit
Please inspect your items when they arrive. If anything has been damaged in transit contact us at 260-225-3029 or thetrailmakersinfo AT gmail.com. Please retain all of the original packing materials.
Cancellations
